Padres hit the road again to face the Brewers at their Maryvale Complex in East Phoenix. Many of the newer spring facilities have nice amenities around, like restaurants, shopping and bars, not this one. Do the math.
Dustin Moseley set to make his 3rd start of the Spring against Milwaukee...
Padres Lineup:
CF - Jaff Decker
LF - Jesus Guzman
3B - Chase Headley
RF - Carlos Quentin
1B - Yonder Alonso
SS - Jason Bartlett
C - John Baker
2B - Everth Cabrera
SP - Dustin Moseley
Should see Micah Owings for a couple of innings today as well as Josh Spence for an inning against the Brewers.
News/Notes:
- The Padres sent 8 players to minor league camp today: Pitchers, Erik Hamren, Robbie Erlin, Juan Oramas, and Jose De Paula; Outfielders, Blake Tekotte, and Rymer Liriano; Infielder, Edinson Rincon; and catcher Jason Hagerty. Buddy Black saying these guys need some at bats and to play consistently, and they'll get the chance in the minor league games which start today.
- Tough deal for pitcher Nick Vincent. He was getting ready for the game yesterday, when he accidentally stepped on a ball in the bullpen. He rolled his ankle and sprained it. Vincent was in a boot today and also had some x-rays taken. Results will be known later today.
- Orlando Hudson told Corey Brock of MLB.com that he was "ready to rock and roll" after missing yesterday's game with a groin strain. Jonathan Galvez was called over from Goodyear to start in Hudson's place in Scottsdale.
Join Bob Scanlan and me for today's game on ESPN Radio 1700, we go on the air at 1pm.

Tekotte and Rincon were both having good Spring Trainings I thought. I guess the idea is they take the confidence they got from there time in ST and make a solid go of it in the minors, and we'll likely see them at PETCO later this year.
